Maintaining balance in and out of the workplace
Who takes care of you while you are busy taking care of others? Join us for an uplifting hour exploring strategies for keeping a positive outlook during difficult times. The speaker will deliver a high energy discourse intended to elevate the spirit.

There never were any locks
If you spend your entire life searching for keys . . . the key to happiness, the key to success, the key to love, the key to health . . . you may become startled and somewhat humbled at the end of your time on this planet to realize no keys were to be found . . . because there never were any locks! Together, let’s look at a framework for controlling your destiny.

The conservation imperative
As Francis Thompson once observed, Thou canst not stir a flower without the troubling of a star. Everything we do has an impact upon the world in which we live. During our time together, the keynoter will invite listeners to be mindful of the magic, wonderment, and stewardship implications that accompany our voyage on spaceship Earth.

The spirit-mind-body connection
A human being is more than a flesh space suit containing lots of water, a few basic minerals, animated by a mild electrical charge. The keynoter will use humor plus an anecdotal story or two to remind listeners of their wonderful legacy as spirit-mind-body entities.

Just for the fun of it
A lively, light-hearted series of individual and group activities whose sole purpose is the elevation of the human spirit. Laughter and joy will be in abundance as we learn more about one another—and perhaps even ourselves. A delightful mental health break!

A gentle 18-step exercise for attaining optimal health
Shibashi is a variation of chi kung (qigong), a term used by the Chinese to mean the exercise of internal energy. Utilizing the most graceful and effective elements of Yang Family Tai Chi, this easy-to-learn breathing and stretching movement pattern is deeply relaxing. Regular practice will empower the participant with the "vitality of a lumberjack, the flexibility of a child, and the peace of mind of a sage."

A healing journey of the mind
A sample of the meditative technique known as guided imagery. Accompanied by music, our journey will consist of a live narration providing a vehicle for encountering moments of cleansing, strengthening, spiritual insight, healing and loving reconciliation.

The you in me and the me in you
All human beings have similar hopes, dreams, aspirations and fears. Join us as we experience a wonderful array of activities intended to heighten our awareness of the connection we share with one another. With a feeling of connectedness comes inner peace, which is at the heart of all healing.
