Greetings from My Mountain Cabin,
At the moment of your conception, you were crowned a Gold Medal Winner in the Cosmic Olympics! Out of millions of sperm produced by your father, one and only one won the race and united with your mother's egg to produce a marvelous being that had never existed before—You! From the outset, you are literally one in millions!
While still in embryonic form, you developed according to a blueprint that was beyond your knowledge or conscious control. Veins, arteries and a nervous system were formed, bones solidified and grew, organs came into existence, blood was produced—each element a contribution to this wonderful thing that became you. All you had to do was be patient enough for the process to unfold.
The moment eventually came about when you left the womb of your mother and took your first breath. You inspired "In-Spirit"! Your body continued its maturation until you reached adulthood, again participating in a mystical process for which you can claim no solo authorship. As you became "You," cosmic magic was made manifest.
Even as you are the product of the physical union of your parents, so they in turn were the products of a similar union of their own parents. As hard as it may be for you to picture, your grandparents were sexual beings, and at least once in their lives, procreated. As did their parents before them, and their parents before them.
Your parents were not created in a vacuum of human time. Your family tree stretches back immeasurably in what you see as "time." All of your ancestors were brought into being by a woman-man couple that preceded them by one generation. This means every one of your family members is biologically linked as far back as the origin of the universe!
You actually had kinfolk alive somewhere on this planet during the American revolution, when Leif Erickson discovered North America, when witches were burned at the stake in Salem, when Napoleon was defeated at Waterloo, at the time the Great Pyramids were built and countless thousands of years before that when primitive humans first banded together in tribal units for security and companionship.
In fact, the entire history of the universe—everything that has ever happened since the dawn of time—serves as a backdrop to this very moment when you are reading these words. It is like a giant mural, one stretching to infinity.
You are playing a role in human history that has never been played before. Your place is firmly established.
However burdensome your daily challenges, always be mindful of and celebrate your uniqueness!
