Do you believe in angels?

Greetings from My Mountain Cabin,

As we journey through EarthSchool, we are provided with a seemingly endless sequence of opportunities through which we might learn and grow. Each experience is a gift, a happenstance that allows us to more perfectly interpret our "humanness." Members of our family, our community, close friends, casual acquaintances, lovers and adversaries, all make up the cast of characters in our own cosmic drama. Situations encountered, decisions made and consequences realized connect seamlessly over the span of a lifetime. We flow toward the inevitable conclusion of our human experience.

We are not without assistance. We are not without "Assistants" as we navigate the byways of our life’s course.

Throughout the ages, Wisdom Keepers of many cultures have proclaimed the existence of angels--unseen (or at least often unrecognized) messengers intended to provide support, protection, insight and guidance to humans during their time on this planet. Other thinkers, perhaps less inclined toward things spiritual, have nonetheless viewed humans as having the capacity to access a body of knowledge larger than self through intuitive process--perhaps insight encoded in our DNA or our neuropeptides--that can be useful in framing a perspective for a happy and productive life.

Whether communicated by heavenly spirits who are literally real, or made known by some sort of genetic data encoding, over the course of our lives we are given moments of profound wisdom and clarity that appear to transcend mere consciousness and logical thought. Identifying the source of this insight is unimportant.

Do angels exist? If so, how do they communicate with humans? How do they present themselves? Do they have wings? Can they have fur or even fins? Are we in a sense angels to one another? Is form merely a matter of perception?

Paying attention to messages of deep personal significance that appear throughout our lives can enrich us in an abundant way. Paying attention to the things our angels teach us can help us fully realize our human potential.

Loving Regards,
Ed
